Surely the bans are about context? Ever since the stadium opened we've had trouble. Our own fans were fighting each other on some occasions. The papers and the governemnt already see us as a target because of how we got the stadium. So we have to be on our best behaviour all season otherwise there will be pressure for us to do drastic things like play behind closed doors.
That's the context. So what do grown men end up doing. Having a fight! You couldn't make it up. Grown men fighting over a football game with kids dotted all over the place. You deserve bans because your stupid not just because you had a row.

Well said it was nothing but the press lapped it up with some of the BBC and Sky reporting was a joke, especially when Chelsea were just as guilty.
Did you see their club come out and threaten their fans? Nope just her, 200 bans is just ridiculous. I can see if you got caught throwing shit but that pushing and gesturing was hardly a riot. Loads more arrests and incidents that week at other grounds and not a quarter of the column inches.

I love non league football. My dad loves going over Eastbourne Utd, I love going over Brading Town, fucking great day out and costs nothing watching players who are playing for free quite often.
We are both massive Hammers (dad played for West Ham, and Eastbourne Utd!) but lower league football is a better matchday experience.

We have genuine fans as our owners. What else do we want? Some oligarch? They are doing what they think is best for the future of our club.
We've moved house. Its a bigger house. We liked the cosy old house and we havent quite got used to the new gaff yet. But we will. It just takes time.

Bom, i was at the Chelsea game and honestly thought it was a non story. the next few days every paper and radio station are wanking themselves stupid over a little but of handbags at ten paces. i stopped going many years ago because of brown's lack of ambition and asset stripping, but as bad as that got, he never resorted to bullying and intimidating the club's fan base. she's overstepped her position and one of the porn dwarves needs to warn her

She must go trying to ban 200 fans for doing next to nothing but in her eyes acting like thugs, only to employ these wankers on the premise that they have been trained to be thugs.
She should at least be explaining why this has happened, why 114 fans have been shit on and give reasons for the bans from the Chelsea game as it was absolutely fuck all.
